This week in the club we were privileged to have Dr Hilary Roberts from the Imperial War Museum with a talk called Photography in War.

We were shown how Photographs of war started in 1848, and continued till now. Starting with wet plates, though film , roll and 35mm and into digital. With many stories along the way including,

Robert Capper and Don Mcullen. Hillary also described how todays armed forces operate separately,

It was a very enlightening night Hillary was a mine of information with dates, names and places.

It would be an interesting to visit the Imperial War Museum and see some of the exibitions.
